Richard

Richard spent his early working years with the Inland Revenue in Northamptonshire and the Home Counties, moving to a large tax company in London before deciding to go it alone in the late eighties. His previous partnership was a success and became a well established firm, attracting clients from all over the UK.
In March 1999 he formed LowTax Ltd, while retaining many of his former clients. Richard is passionate about saving people money, and his detailed tax knowledge means you will always be on the right side of the law. He is highly regarded in the field, providing content for a number of external bodies, such as Contractor UK, and we are sure you won’t find anyone who enjoys tax as much as he does!
Outside of work, Richard loves spending time with his three children and supporting the England football team at home and away.

Lee

Lee has recently returned to The LowTax Group as Practice Operations Director.  She has gained over 20 years’ experience in financial accounting and payroll, having previously worked for multinational commercial organisations and in Accounting Practice, including one of the Top Four firms. Lee adds an enormous amount of value to the team as a Tax Specialist, particularly for small businesses and personal clients.
At the LowTax group, Lee is responsible for the successful operational management of the practice. This includes managing workloads, resolving client enquiries and providing specialist tax knowledge to clients and the team. Lee is the first point of contact for most of The LowTax Group clients, and coordinates the successful management of their accounts.
As a guru on nutritional health and well being, Lee not only manages the practice but keeps the team in good shape! Lee is also involved in fundraising operations for a number of local and national charitable organisations.

Martin

Having spent over ten years working within the accounting and finance sector, Martin joined The LowTax Group in 2011 heading up our client services division. Martin manages external communications and provides strategic business analysis to our clients. In addition, having previously worked within the recruitment sector, he provides insightful advice to contractors ensuring the LowTax group offers more than ‘just accounting’ to all of our valued clients.
Outside of work, Martin is a keen sports fan and a qualified pilot. If he’s not out supporting his team, you’ll normally find him enthusing over all things aviation, or learning golf from Richard Bayliss.

Jo

Jo spent the first 12 years of her career working within commercial organisations before switching into Practice Accounting five years ago. AAT qualified, Jo has been with The LowTax Group for three years and is in the final stage of gaining her ACCA qualification. Jo is able to provide our clients with excellent insight and advice on successful financial and accounting procedures for their business.
As one of the senior accountants on the team, Jo is responsible for completing the accounts of our clients with medium sized companies. She also has a hand in overseeing the successful management of accounts for our small business and personal clients. Aside from enjoying walking and a good book, outside of work Jo sits on the committee for a local pre-school and is a pro-active fundraiser for charity.
